Privacy policy
Effective 6 November 2026.
This policy explains what data the Date Deck app and the datedeck.love website collect, why, and how you control it. Questions: hello@datedeck.love.
What we store
- Email. To sign you in with a code and to link a gift to its buyer. If you sign in with Apple, we get the address Apple shares (it may be a hidden relay address).
- Gift details. The names or nicknames you entered, the note, your date ideas and deck settings.
- Dates and photos. Which cards were taken, and the photos you upload to confirm a date.
- Technical data. App language and server logs (request times, errors) to keep the app working and investigate problems.
We don’t show ads, don’t sell data and don’t track you across other apps or websites.
Who can see it
Dates and photos are visible only to the two people in the deck. Friends who buy a gift for a couple see only the codes and whether they were opened. Photos are kept in private storage and open only through a temporary link inside the app.
Where it’s stored
Data is stored with Supabase (servers in Frankfurt, Germany). Sign-in emails are sent by Resend. In-app payments go through Apple; we never receive card details.
How long
As long as the account exists. After you delete your account, data is removed within 30 days and backups are overwritten within 90 days.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account: write to hello@datedeck.love from your account email.
Children
The app is for adult couples and isn’t intended for anyone under 17.
Changes
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the date above.
